  • What happens if we need more time and want to extend last minute?

    No worries at all! If our schedule allows, we’re happy to extend your rental time. The rate is $300 per additional hour or $150 for a half-hour extension. For CPS vendor events, the rate is $200 per hour or $100 for a half-hour. A $50 last-minute extension fee will also apply, payable on-site via Zelle, Cash App, cash, or check.

  • Can we customize the photo layout?

    Absolutely! We can personalize your photo overlay with your event name, colors, logo, or theme to fit your celebration. Customization pricing typically ranges from $100 to $200, depending on the level of detail and design you’d like.

  • How do guests get their photos?

    Guests can instantly receive their photos by selecting text or email options directly from the mirror booth screen. If they opt for printed photo strips instead of a digital GIF or boomerang, their prints will be ready on the spot.

  • How do I book?

    Start by filling out our booking form through the website, providing your event details. Then, request a remote consultation slot for us to review and approve. If approved, we’ll connect to go over your event, answer any questions, and finalize the booking.

  • What kind of camera do you use?

    We use the Canon EOS M50, a high-quality, professional-grade mirrorless camera known for capturing crisp, vibrant photos. It’s trusted by professional photographers for both photo and video, ensuring every moment is beautifully preserved.

  • Is the downpayment refundable?

    Unfortunately, deposits are non-refundable. However, we understand plans can change! You’re welcome to reschedule your event at least 7 days in advance at no extra cost. Rescheduling within 7 days may incur a $50 fee.

  • How far in advance should we book?

    We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks ahead for standard events to secure your preferred date. For larger events like weddings or those requiring custom designs, 4-6 weeks is ideal to allow for personalization and planning.

  • Do you charge travel fees?

    Travel within 20 miles of our Avondale, Chicago (60618) location is included in your booking. For locations beyond that, a travel fee of $1 per mile (round trip) will apply.

  • Can the booth be used outdoors?

    Yes — the booth can be set up outdoors, provided there’s a flat, shaded, and covered area with access to a power outlet. Please note, outdoor bookings are weather-dependent for the safety of our equipment.

  • What happens if something goes wrong?

    We always have a trained on-site attendant to keep everything running smoothly. In the rare event of a technical issue, we’ll work quickly to resolve it and make things right.

  • Do you offer discounts for schools, churches, or community events?

    Yes — we proudly offer special vendor rates for Chicago Public Schools (CPS), churches, and nonprofit organizations. Reach out to us directly for more details!
